How to Install Your Bought Asset Pack from Humble Bundle

After purchasing the bundle {NAME} on Humble Bundle, you’ll receive a code that you can redeem to access your asset packs. The packs included in your bundle will depend on the “Tier” (1-3) you purchased. Follow the steps below to redeem and install your asset packs:

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the Shop Page

2. Find Your Bundle

  • Search for the Tier you purchased on Humble Bundle.
  • Review the requirements, the license, and the detailed contents of your bundle.

3. Add to Cart

  • Once you have found the correct Tier, click on “Add to Cart.”

4. Proceed to Checkout

  • Go to the checkout page.
  • Note that there will be no payment options on this page.

5. Redeem Your Code

  • Use the code you received from Humble Bundle.
  • Click on “Redeem Code” or “Redeem Coupon” on the checkout page or in your cart.

6. Register an Account

  • Proceed to register an account to ensure you have access to your asset packs.
  • Having an account will help you manage and download your purchases at any time.

7. Access Your Downloads

  • After completing the redemption process, click on “My Account“.
  • Navigate to “Downloads.”

8. Download Your Packs

  • Download every unlocked pack or select the specific packs you need.

Installation Instructions

1. Extract the ZIP File

  • Once downloaded, you will receive a ZIP file containing your asset pack.
  • Extract the contents of the ZIP file.

2. Move to Unreal Project Directory

  • The extracted ZIP file will include a folder named similarly to “ExampleNameAssets.”
  • Move this folder to your Unreal Project directory under the /Content/ folder.

Example:

  • If your Unreal project is located at x:\Unreal Projects\<MyProject>\, you should place the “ExampleNameAssets” folder into x:\Unreal Projects\<MyProject>\Content\.

3. Verify Folder Structure

  • Ensure that the folder structure within the extracted folder is correctly placed.
  • Inside x:\Unreal Projects\<MyProject>\Content\ExampleNameAssets\, you should see subfolders such as “Maps,” “Materials,” “Textures,” “Meshes,” etc.

Tips and Troubleshooting

  • Check Email: Ensure that you have received the confirmation email from Humble Bundle with your code.
  • Correct Code: Make sure you are entering the correct code from Humble Bundle.
  • Account Issues: If you have trouble registering or logging in, check your email for verification or reset your password if needed.
